Victoria Thomas, a 30-year-old Black woman from Canton, GA, tragically lost her life on May 22, 2022. The incident occurred at her home, where she was found dead by deputies responding to a shooting call. Victoria's mother, 68-year-old Myrna Garcia, was also severely injured in the attack. Myrna was holding Victoria's four-month-old baby at the time of the shooting, but fortunately, the infant was not harmed.
