Katherine Landers, a 41-year-old woman from Canton, GA, was found dead on March 31, 2014, in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide. Katherine Landers, who was Caucasian, was discovered alongside her husband, Cary Landers, aged 51, in their home on Univeter Road. The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office responded to a call and found both individuals deceased at the scene.
