In the winter of 2019, a tragic event unfolded in Canton, Georgia, leading to the death of 55-year-old Tammy Gilbert. On the evening of Saturday, January 5th, Cherokee County deputies were dispatched to a residence on Lower Burris Road. Upon their arrival, they were met by Jesse Simmons, who informed them that his girlfriend, Tammy Gilbert, had shot herself.
