Alan T. Harden, a 31-year-old African American male from Decatur, Illinois, was fatally shot in Champaign on November 26, 2020. The incident occurred early in the morning on Leeper Court, where Champaign Police responded to a reported shooting just after 1 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Alan T. Harden lying on the roadway, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Champaign County Coroner, Duane Northrup.
