Jalin Osborne, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on February 8, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the hallway of a residential building located in the South Deering neighborhood. Osborne was shot in the neck and chest and was subsequently transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:28 p.m. that evening. Osborne lived in the same block of South Oglesby Avenue where the shooting took place.
