Devon Ward, a 15-year-old African American boy, was tragically killed on May 5, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 2:44 a.m., in the courtyard of a building located in the 3800 block of South Princeton Avenue in the Wentworth Gardens neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago.
