Jalen Harris, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 16, 2021, in a drive-by shooting in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago. Around 1 a.m., Jalen and a 20-year-old woman were driving in the 8300 block of South Damen Avenue when an unknown assailant in a passing SUV opened fire on their vehicle.
