Dorothy T. Cerny, a 25-year-old Caucasian woman from Chicago, Illinois, tragically lost her life on June 3, 1973. Dorothy and her fiancé, James Schmidt, also 25, were traveling along Highway 57 in Cook County when they were ambushed by a group of four men.
