Cynthia Halk, a 38-year-old white female, was found dead on July 29, 2001, in Chicago, Illinois. Her partially clothed body was discovered inside a garbage can in an alley near Clark and Division Streets. At the time of her death, Halk was known to struggle with drug addiction and was involved in sex work.
