Tiara Banks, a 24-year-old Black transgender woman, was tragically killed on April 21, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. Tiara was sitting alone in her Ford Fusion in the West Pullman neighborhood when an unknown assailant approached her vehicle and shot her multiple times. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
