Virginia Griffin, a 44-year-old woman, was found murdered in a public park in Rogers Park in 1991. Griffin, who was of Caucasian ethnicity, had been raped and eviscerated with a knife. Her death was part of a series of brutal murders committed by Ralph Andrews, a convicted murderer who was sentenced to life in prison for his crimes.
