Brittany Coleman, a 29-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on April 4, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. Brittany was in a vehicle with her boyfriend in the Rosemoor neighborhood when someone fired shots into the car. She was struck in the back and was later dropped off at Roseland Community Hospital in serious condition, where she succumbed to her injuries. The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. in the 10300 block of South Indiana Avenue.
