On November 22, 2024, at approximately 7:03 a.m., Oak Park police responded to reports of an overturned vehicle and possible gunfire in the 6300 block of Roosevelt Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a white 2013 Jaguar XJ that had struck a cement barricade and a tree. Inside the vehicle was 34-year-old Scott Robinson from Chicago, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Loyola University Medical Center in critical condition and was pronounced dead at 7:45 a.m.
