Ciera Jones, a 25-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on June 18, 2021, in Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side of Chicago. Ciera was traveling in a vehicle with a 29-year-old man and a child when someone in a burgundy Dodge Durango pulled up alongside them and opened fire.
