In the small community of Bamberg, South Carolina, the life of 37-year-old Latoya Yvette McMillan, a Black female, was tragically cut short on July 4, 2022. On that day, she was discovered deceased in her residence on Houser Street, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound. Her death was subsequently ruled a homicide by the Bamberg County Coroner.
