Darlisha T. Mcllwain, a 43-year-old African American woman, was found deceased in her Moncks Corner, South Carolina home on March 12, 2025. Authorities responded to a call from a family member early that morning, leading them to a tragic scene on Cicadas Song Drive. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Mcllwain and another individual, 55-year-old Johnnie B. Elmore Sr., both suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. The Berkeley County Coroner's Office later confirmed their identities.
