On Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018, the life of Sasha Wall, a 29-year-old Black transgender woman, was tragically cut short in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. She was discovered in her car on a rural road, having been shot multiple times at close range in her neck and shoulder. The vehicle was still running when a passerby found her.
