On the night of October 5, 1976, Jean-Luc Ringuette was seen for the last time when he left his home in Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, New Brunswick. The following morning, Jean-Luc did not attend school. A few weeks prior to his disappearance, he had disclosed that he had some money, and that he and a friend were going to leave town.
