In the small community of Little Axe, just outside of Norman, Oklahoma, a dispute between friends culminated in a tragic end for Jeremy Wayne Morgan. On January 7, 2019, the 41-year-old man was shot and killed in his own home. The man who pulled the trigger was not a stranger, but a friend who had been renting a room from him. The fatal confrontation reportedly stemmed from an eviction notice Morgan had recently served to his tenant.
