Angela Mays, a 46-year-old African American woman, was tragically shot to death on May 1, 2021, in Dolton, Illinois. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 600 block of East Sibley Boulevard. Angela was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead approximately half an hour later at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey. The Cook County medical examiner's office ruled her death a homicide.
