Demetrius Southerland, a 21-year-old African American male from Chicago, was tragically killed on May 13, 2015, in Dolton, Illinois. Southerland was visiting his girlfriend in Dolton and was out walking her dog late at night when he was shot in the head. The incident occurred in the 14800 block of Kimbark Avenue.
