Janina Ford, a 45-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on July 4, 2021, in Chicago, IL. The incident occurred during a Fourth of July celebration in the Austin neighborhood. According to reports, Calvin Gonnigan, a 34-year-old man, opened fire on partygoers after being asked to stop shooting his gun in the air as children played nearby. Gonnigan's actions led to a chaotic and violent scene, resulting in the death of Janina Ford and injuries to two other men, aged 32 and 49. ...Read More
