Corina Avila, a 27-year-old Hispanic woman, tragically lost her life on June 16, 2019, in Chicago, Illinois. She was fatally shot while sitting in a vehicle in the Little Village neighborhood, specifically in the 2600 block of South St. Louis Avenue.
