Destiny Nunez, a 23-year-old woman from Chicago, IL, tragically lost her life on May 21, 2021, following a violent altercation at a convenience store in the East Garfield Park neighborhood. The incident occurred at a food and liquor store located in the 500 block of North Kedzie Avenue. Nunez, along with 18-year-old Adrian Navarro, was involved in a confrontation with two men, Anthony Roldan and Justice Pierce.
