Marcus Jones, a 24-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on July 23, 2021, in the West Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. in a vacant lot located in the 4000 block of West Monroe Street.
