The investigation revealed that the shooting was a coordinated attack involving multiple suspects. Ronnie Henderson, a 27-year-old male from Chicago, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of Antwon Gee and Devel Jones. Henderson was apprehended on December 21, 2023, in the 8500 block of West Bryn Mawr Avenue. According to the authorities, Henderson, along with two other suspects who remain at large, ambushed Gee and Jones as they exited their vehicle near the park's tennis courts.
