Adrian Navarro, an 18-year-old male from Chicago, Illinois, tragically lost his life on May 22, 2021. As Navarro went to pay, Roldan's co-defendant, Justice Pierce, 20, allegedly threw a bottle at Navarro and began to assault him. Nunez attempted to intervene, but Roldan pulled out a handgun and started firing. Navarro managed to break free and run into the parking lot, but Roldan continued to fire, ultimately striking both Navarro and Nunez. Navarro was taken to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
