Trulisa Kyles, a 32-year-old African American woman from Rockford, Illinois, tragically lost her life on September 25, 2022. Trulisa, who was a registered nurse, wife, and mother of three, was shot while driving her car on Seventh Street and Eighth Avenue in Rockford. The incident occurred early in the morning, and she was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting also resulted in a 33-year-old male victim suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
