Peggy Anderson, a 63-year-old female, was fatally shot on January 11, 2023, in Rockford, Illinois. The incident occurred at Pinnon Meats, a butcher shop located on North Court Street. Anderson was found lying near the stairs at the back of the business with a single gunshot wound to her chest. Emergency responders transported her to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
