Kyesha Lee, a 25-year-old African American woman from Rockford, IL, tragically lost her life on the evening of July 22, 2022. Kyesha was standing in the doorway of her parents' home on Horsman Street when gunfire erupted from the street outside. A bullet struck her in the abdomen, and despite being rushed to OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, she was pronounced dead later that evening.
