Vadewattee "Vade" Muralidhara, a 44-year-old woman of Trinidadian descent, tragically lost her life on July 29, 1999, in a mass shooting incident in Buckhead, Atlanta, Georgia. Vade, who was a homemaker and mother of two, was among the nine victims of a shooting spree carried out by Mark Orrin Barton. Barton, a day trader, went on a rampage at two day trading firms, killing several people before taking his own life later that day.
