Shaleka Spoon, a 36-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on December 11, 2016, in what authorities have described as a murder-suicide. Shaleka, a former Fulton County sheriff's deputy, was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Walmart on Cleveland Avenue in East Point, Georgia, as she was arriving for work around 4 a.m. The shooter, identified as 39-year-old Christopher Bernard Jones, also of Fairburn, Georgia, was her estranged husband and the father of her three children ...Read More
