Khalis Eberhart, a 5-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on November 25, 2021, in South Fulton, Georgia. The incident occurred on Thanksgiving Day when Khalis was accidentally shot by her 3-year-old cousin. The young boy found an unsecured, loaded handgun that belonged to his father, who is Khalis' uncle.
