A 57-year-old Black/African American grandmother, Andrea Evette Brown, was tragically killed on October 24, 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early morning, around 5 a.m., inside her home in the Beecher Hills neighborhood. At the time of the shooting, Ms. Brown was holding her 3-month-old grandson.
