In March of 2010, the body of 44-year-old Linda Symantha Myrick was discovered in a vacant lot in west Atlanta. A mother of three adult children, Myrick was found in a gruesome state, her body dismembered, missing both her head and hands. Investigators were able to identify her remains through medical records detailing a distinctive surgical plate and screws in her left leg.
