Death by Force

On April 18, 2023, Rasheeda Williams, known by her stage name Koko Da Doll, a 35-year-old Black transgender woman, was found shot to death in southwest Atlanta. The incident occurred shortly before 10:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW, near the intersection with Hamilton E. Holmes Drive. When officers responded to the scene, they found Williams unconscious on the sidewalk, having been shot at least once. She was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
