On the first of April, 21-year-old Marcus King was killed in Columbus, Georgia. The incident that led to his death occurred at 3003 Victory Drive. He was transported to Midtown Medical Center, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
The case is officially listed as an unsolved homicide by the Columbus Police Department, leaving a painful void for his loved ones.
Marcus, who was affectionately known as "Lil Marco," was a native of the area, having been born in Columbus and later residing in Smiths, Alabama. He was a 2011 graduate of Russell County High School and was a member of the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama. At the time of his death, he was a father to two young sons. His passing left a deep wound in the hearts of his parents, siblings, and a wide circle of family and friends who remembered him as a cherished member of their lives.
