Marcus Kurtiz Deon King, affectionately known as "Lil Marco," was born on May 16, 1992, in Columbus, Georgia, to Teressa King and Mark King. He was a member of Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church and graduated from Russell County High School in 2011. At the time of his passing, he resided in Smiths Station, Alabama, and was the father of two sons, Ja'Marion James and Ka'Marion James.
