Byron De’Juan Petty, a 22-year-old Black male from Columbus, Georgia, tragically lost his life on January 7, 2021. Petty was found with multiple gunshot wounds at an intersection near 14th Avenue and 16th Street in Columbus. The incident was reported to have occurred during a drug deal gone wrong.
