Adunte Carr, a young African American male, tragically lost his life on May 15, 2014, in Atlanta, Georgia. The incident occurred during a violent shootout involving members of the Bloods gang. Carr, who was also a member of the gang, was fatally shot inside a moving vehicle in southwest DeKalb County. The altercation began when three fellow gang members—Cordarius Genard Wyatt, Reco Rodriges Hart, and Kevin Hambrick—attempted to rob Carr over a drug debt.
