On the morning of February 4, 2015, 18-year-old Sara Nicole Graham, a member of the Lumbee Tribe, left her home on Centerville Church Road in Fairmont, North Carolina, to begin her 7:00 a.m. shift at the Walmart in Pembroke. She was a responsible and dependable employee, known for her kind and friendly nature, and was reportedly happy with her new life in North Carolina after moving from Texas a few months prior.
