In the spring of 2025, concern began to grow for 49-year-old Kimberly Dawn Nixon, a resident of Hickory, North Carolina. On April 28th of that year, she was seen by a relative in Catawba County, which was the last confirmed contact anyone had with her. Following this encounter, there was another sighting of her in the Hildebran area, located in the neighboring Burke County.
