In the cold of winter, just days before her 37th birthday, Rose M. Fields vanished from Omaha, Nebraska. On December 22, 2000, she was at a relative's home in the 1500 block of Pine Street. At some point, she left the residence, wearing a black jacket with a hood, a blue hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans. That was the last confirmed sighting of Rose.
