Vernon E. Harper Jr., a 30-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 14, 2021, in a senseless shooting in Southwest Atlanta. Born on April 8, 1991, in Evanston, Illinois, Vernon was the son of Vernon Harper Sr. and Sabrina Humphrey. He moved to Atlanta in 2016, where he pursued his passion for music by founding his own label, Dred Gang Music. Vernon was known for his dedication to making a positive impact on people's lives and was deeply loved by his family and friends.
