Demetrius Avant Wilson, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on the night of April 5, 2022, in Clayton County, Georgia. The fatal incident unfolded near the entrance of the Elite at 285 apartment complex located on Riverdale Road. Clayton County Police officers responded to a call regarding a person shot at approximately 11:45 p.m. and, upon their arrival, discovered Wilson suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
