Demetrius Avant Wilson, a 20-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on April 5, 2022, in Clayton County, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Elite at 285 apartment complex located on Riverdale Road. According to police reports, officers responded to a call about a person shot at approximately 11:45 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Demetrius Wilson near the entrance of the apartment complex, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
