Shawn Gray, a 22-year-old African American male from Atlanta, GA, was tragically killed on January 17, 2021. Gray, a father of two, was shot multiple times outside a hotel in Cobb County. The incident stemmed from a mistaken belief held by Jamaar Bracey, who thought Gray was involved in a drive-by shooting that injured Bracey's nephew in Chicago earlier that month.
