Rashawn Jackson, a 34-year-old African American woman from Atlanta, GA, was tragically found dead on May 27, 2014. Her death was a result of a gunshot wound to the head, discovered in her apartment in the Venetian Hills area of Southwest Atlanta. The discovery was made by her mother, Antoinette Jackson, who heard loud noises around 3 AM and found Rashawn lying in a pool of blood between a closet and a chair.
