A promising young British astrophysicist, Dr. Matthew Willson, 31, was visiting his girlfriend in a suburban Atlanta apartment complex when his life was tragically cut short. On January 16, 2022, while lying in bed with his partner, a stray bullet pierced the wall of the apartment and struck him in the head.
