In the early morning hours of May 28, 2023, a gathering outside Benjamin E. Mays High School in Atlanta, Georgia, turned into a scene of chaos and tragedy. An unauthorized graduation party with nearly 100 people in attendance was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When the shooting stopped, two teenagers had been struck.
