In the winter of 2020, the life of 30-year-old Alexis Nicole Lee Reed, a female Delta Air Lines employee, was tragically cut short in a violent act that stunned her friends, family, and colleagues. On the night of Sunday, January 26th, after finishing her shift, Reed was shot multiple times in a Delta employee parking lot near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. She was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
The initial investigation quickly pointed to a fellow Delta employee, Raeshaun Antonie Jones, as the primary suspect.
Investigators determined that the killing was not a random act of violence, believing Jones had been waiting for Reed in the parking lot.
