On January 12, 2014, Detrawn Freeman, aged 27, was brought to Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, with a gunshot wound. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, with Freeman being dropped off at the hospital around 12:30 a.m. Unfortunately, the individuals who transported him did not provide any information about the shooting before leaving. Despite the efforts of medical staff, Detrawn succumbed to his injuries shortly after 2:00 a.m.
